Teen AI Safety Pocket Guides: Booklets for Privacy, Source Checking, Boundaries

Price

$3.00

A portable collection of four eight-page pocket guides designed to help teenagers remember essential AI-safety skills outside the counseling room, classroom, or home conversation. Each guide begins as one landscape sheet and folds into a small booklet that can be kept in a pencil case, school bag, pocket, counseling folder, or desk drawer.

The set gives teens quick access to privacy reminders, source-checking prompts, before/during/after safety steps, and practical ways to interrupt repeated reassurance or hard-to-stop use.

WHAT’S INSIDE

  • Privacy Before You Prompt

A compact guide to naming the job, keeping identifying details off-screen, generalising a prompt, checking the stakes, and choosing a safer boundary before using AI.

  • Reality-Check the Reply

A source-checking guide that teaches teens that fluent is not the same as true and warm language is not human understanding. It helps them identify the exact claim, check who created the source, spot unsafe agreement, and choose between Draft, Verify, Human, and Urgent Human Help.

  • AI Therapy Safety Pocket Guide

A concise before/during/after reference covering purpose, privacy, sources, repeated reassurance, emotional after-effects, offline action, and human handoff.

  • Break the Pull

A guide for noticing repeated reassurance, lost sleep, concealment, avoidance of people or responsibilities, longer chats for the same relief, and difficulty stopping. It includes a hard-cut plan, body reset, real-need check, contact script, backup route, and new boundary.

Folding Instructions

A separate illustrated instruction sheet explains how to fold the pale dashed lines and cut only the coral centre slit. Adult help is recommended.

PERFECT FOR

The pocket guides are designed for therapists, counselors, school counselors, educators, caregivers, and other professionals supporting teenagers. They work well as take-home reminders after a session, visual prompts in a school-support setting, practical additions to a digital-literacy lesson, or compact tools for a guided home safety plan.

WHAT YOU’LL NOTICE

Each guide has its own purpose and information. These are not four differently coloured copies of the same booklet. Together, they cover the four moments teens are most likely to need a compact prompt: before sharing personal information, while checking a confident response, when reviewing an emotional chat, and when AI use is becoming difficult to stop.

PLEASE NOTE

This is a digital product; no physical item will be shipped. Printing, folding, and one centre-slit cut are required. Colours may vary slightly between monitors and printers. These pocket guides provide psychoeducation and reflection and are not therapy, diagnosis, treatment, confidential support, crisis care, or a replacement for a qualified professional.

Personal use only. Commercial use, resale, file sharing, and redistribution are not permitted. All sales are final.
